Halloween Events

Fort Lauderdale is a great Halloween destination for parties, scares, and visiting haunted houses. The Halloween weekend is vibrant with events like trick-or-treating for kids and pub crawls for adults in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Pirates of the Warf (unconfirmed in 2023)

The Wharf in Fort Lauderdale is one of the best places for a family Halloween outing. This open-air event space on the riverfront features lots of entertainment for the little ones as well as pirate-themed decor. The activities start from noon and last until 6 pm.

Haunted houses and more

For the thrill-seekers, Fort Lauderdale offers the drive-through Horrorland Experience. The haunted house, located in Miramar Regional Park, is the first of drive-thru and touchless haunts in South Florida. It is full of monsters, ghouls, ghosts, and zombies. Immerse yourself in one of these creepy scenes, such as Alice in Horrorland, Creepy Carnival, Scream’s Cemetery, Christmas Nightmare, Zombie Apocalypse, Farm of Horrors, and Asylum of Darkness. The whole experience lasts for 35 terrifying minutes.

For a less scary, family-friendly experience, head to a Haunt Drive at Tree Tops Park, full of witches and wizards. Another great place to seek adventures is Xtreme Action Park, which offers laser tag with monsters, hide and seek with zombies or a nighttime graveyard race. Boogeyman Skate, live DJ sets, fog, and other special effects will definitely get you into the Halloween spirit.
