Both Lakeside Lights Spectacular and License to Chill Snow Island offer an array of exciting activities and plenty of fun throughout their nearly identical durations. A visit to Santa's Residence adds the perfect touch to the magical Margaritaville holiday experience.

For more thrills, don't miss Margaritaville's renowned Blizzard Mountain, home to one of North America's longest snow rides. The 575-foot-long (175-m), eight-story Georgia snow tubing slide offers an exhilarating adventure. The Holiday Boat Parade of Lights

The Holiday Boat Parade of Lights, a beautiful holiday tradition, takes place in December at Margaritaville at Lanier Islands in Georgia. Visitors can enjoy a festive display of decorated boats as they parade across Lake Lanier, all viewed from the marina. It's a part of Margaritaville's holiday celebrations, adding to the winter festivities alongside the Lakeside Lights Spectacular and other seasonal attractions. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to enjoy the parade, great food and music.

Dates & Hours

Margaritaville's Lakeside Lights Spectacular will be open on select dates from November 27 to January 20, with hours typically running from 5 pm to 10 pm. License to Chill Snow Island begins earlier, starting on select days from November 16 and continuing until February 23. Snow Island generally operates from 11 am to 10 pm, though exact schedules may vary throughout the season.

Tickets

Lanier Islands Resort imposes a daily gate and parking fee of $20 for each vehicle that visits the resort. However, access to the resort and parking is included with summer and winter season passes, as well as combo passes. The 2024/25 Combo Plus Pass, which offers both winter and summer access along with double discounts, is available for $119.99 (regularly priced at $149.99). Additionally, the 2024/25 Combo Season Pass is priced at $99.99 (regularly $129.99).
