Madrid Horse Week is a grandiose event in the field of equestrian sport, which includes competitions and show programs. The annual celebration of horses and riders is held in late November. The program of the festival is incredibly diverse: from charming pony races to prestigious World Cup competitions. Fans of horse riding can attend daily master classes, horse breeding events, and horse basketball matches.

Horse Week Highlights

The main highlights of the largest equestrian event in Spain include the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup, the FEI Dressage World Cup, the ‘Maestros de la Vaquera’ Cup, an International Show Jumping Competition, and other prestigious trophies and championships. The program also features the Horse Show, featuring Western dressage, natural horsemanship, and horse health and care sessions.

Pony turf races with junior riders are an ultimate crowd-pleaser. One of the most popular races at Horse Week is usually held in the afternoon and is followed by the special jumping show, which includes a six-bar competition and the jump & drive. The public can also enjoy a Commercial Village experience across more than 90 stands with apparel, equestrian items, veterinarian products, equine transport, and decoration.

Horse Show

An impressive horse show features acrobats on horses, flying riders, and musical Equestrian programs many of which are seasoned with a unique Spanish flavour.

Commercial Village

The family-friendly Commercial Village provides plenty of entertainment and a variety of educational and enriching activities from the horse world and general leisure. Vendors include premier Spanish and international brands from all over Europe. A Pony Park is a great experience for the little ones. The Warm-up Arena showcases the best athletes in the world and their preparation routines as they warm up for the challenges of the Main Arena. The Gourmet Corner of the village offers a wide choice of food and beverages. Admission to the Village is €5.

Tickets

Grandstand tickets for separate events start at €32 for adults and €27 for children under 14. The full week pass starts at €135 and €110 for children. Horse Week features plenty of VIP options for viewing the competition, such as Main Arena VIP tables with dining, IFEMA MHW VIP Corner, standing boxes for six people in the Main Arena, VIP boxes for ten people, and much more.
