Dates: November 18–19, 2023

The Maine Harvest Festival is a two-day event held around Thanksgiving at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. One of the favourite community gatherings for many Maine families features various food contests, demonstrations, sampling events, sales and more. Special attractions include a chocolate bar with organic hand-made chocolate, fruit, nuts, and jams. Cranberries is another highlight of the festival as well as other fresh local produce from local farms. There is also an art exhibition and lots of entertainment.

The Festival gathers well-known local chefs and over 200 Maine farmers, growers, bakers, cheese artisans, fibre artisans, distillers, and brewers under one roof. Many culinary students and young cooks take part in a double-crusted pie contest.

The weekend festival runs from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tickets prices vary from $8 for general admission to $5 for veterans discounted tickets. Kids 12 and under enjoy free admission. For those willing to sample from Maine's wineries and breweries organizers offer wristbands for four and eight samples, or you could approach the booths and learn more about tours and samplings in breweries and wineries. The pricing policy is subject to change.
