Rubber Duck Derby 2023 in New Orleans

Have you ever seen 20,000 rubber ducks in the water? The rules are simple: adopt a duck for a small amount of money and pray for it to be the fastest and win a prize for you. Fantastic, isn't it? Previously, the derby was held at Bayou St. John during the Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo Fest. However, the current location is Big Lake in New Orleans City Park. You can adopt a duck and make a difference in the lives of local children and families, as the money raised goes to charity. For every $1 raised, Second Harvest Food Bank will be able to give four meals to the needy people of New Orleans and Louisiana.
