August through October, the waters around the Zanzibar archipelago are teeming with Yellow Fin Tuna. It's a truly blessed season for locals and visitors alike. Yellow Fin Tuna is one of the strongest fish around. You may even reel in a tuna weighing 33 kg–40 kg! You can also find schools of large blue and black marlin among the tuna.
