The Pacific Airshow Gold Coast stands as Australia's largest-ever annual airshow event, drawing a crowd of over 200,000 spectators. Taking after the original Pacific Airshow in California, the spectacular three-day aerial performances by the world's top civilian & military aerobatic teams are demonstrated over the Surfers Paradise Beach on Australia's Gold Coast in Queensland.
Schedule of the Airshow
Pacific Airshow turns Surfers Paradise into the largest stage in Australia with four hours of nonstop entertainment in the skies. Friday is usually a Rehearsal Day, while the main show takes place on Saturday and Sunday. Airshow performances will take place from 10 am am to 3:30 pm each day. The working hours of the Airshow are 9 am to 4:30 pm.
Lineup of Performers
The upcoming Pacific Airshow on the Gold Coast offers an exciting aerial display lineup. The Royal Australian Air Force’s 100 Squadron heritage aircraft will make their debut en masse, joined by the RAAF Roulettes aerobatic display team performing daily shows in their Pilatus PC-21s. More operational RAAF aircraft will be announced soon. Renowned Australian aviator Matt Hall, along with female aerobatic pilot Emma McDonald, will perform a captivating two-ship performance.
The United States military will showcase its might with the US Marine Corps Ospreys, US Air Force C-17s, and KC-135s making appearances. The US Navy Leap Frogs will also debut with beach landings within the ticketed precinct. International civilian performers include Arizona’s Jeff Boerboon with his Yak110 and the UK’s Gravity Industries showcasing jet suits for futuristic human flight demonstrations. The Pacific Airshow Gold Coast is set to be an unforgettable experience for aviation enthusiasts.
Location & Tickets
All events will take place at Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland, just 3.2 miles (5.1 km) away from Gold Coast. General admission one-day tickets start at $50 per person ($35 for kids and students aged 4-17). A three-day pass costs $100 ($70 for kids). Family tickets for a family of 2 adults and two kids range from $135 for a single-day ticket to $270 for a 3-day pass. Premium and Hospitality passes and available starting at $135. Entry for children three years and under is free. If the attendees decide to be outside the ticket zone, they are advised to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, and small umbrellas.
