Antioch 4th of July Parade & Fireworks Featured in
Antioch administration and residents surely know a little something about proper Independence Day celebrations. Every year, Antioch hosts thousands of visitors, coming to the city specifically for the 4th-of-July festivities. So let’s see what you can do there on America’s birthday.
First of all, all the activities take place in downtown Antioch. You can join masses of people in a patriotic parade, which starts at 11 am at W. 2nd Street & E St. Feel free to fill out a parade application form on the event’s official website below. The participation fee is $20. After the march, you can walk around downtown and taste delicious drinks and mouth-watering meals from famous vendors. Local restaurants also keep their doors open during the day.
In addition, there will be two big stages. Many bands will be playing their best hits throughout the day, so get your ears ready. And if you plan to bring your children along —good thinking! After all, there will be a decent children’s zone with slides, bounce houses, obstacles, and other cool stuff to keep them busy.
As the sunset approaches, remember to grab your little ones to watch an amazing firework show above the Delta River together. In addition, keep in mind that Antioch is super busy this time of year, so you may want to book your accommodation beforehand.
