One of the highlights of Oxnard 4th of July celebration is the annual Channel Islands Harbor Family Parade, which sets off at 10:30 am on Harbor Boulevard. The parade travels north up Harbor Boulevard and ends at Cabezone Circle. Decorated bikes, strollers, wagons, as well as everything red blue and white is a must!
Channel Islands Harbor 4th of July Electric Boat Parade (July, 2024)
The 4th of July Electric Boat Parade is another popular event at the Channel Islands Harbor. The parade starts at 2 pm, when more than 50 brightly decorated electric boats go around the east and west channels of the Harbor. This patriotic event is sponsored by Central Coast Electric Boats and the Channel Islands Yacht Club. Other holiday activities at Channel Islands Harbor include an artists' market, carnival rides, games, and plenty of entertainment. The day finishes with the Fireworks by the Sea at 9 pm.
4th of July Street Fair & Pushem-Pullem Parade in Ventura (4 July, 2024)
If you are not afraid of a short trip, visit Ventura (11 miles (18 km) from Oxnard) to experience the patriotic atmosphere of Independence Day celebrations. The annual 4th of July Street Fair & Pushem-Pullem Parade runs from 10 am to 4 pm in Ventura's Downtown District. Fun events feature a street fair with over 100 vendors, a car exhibit, food trucks, a children's area, live entertainment, and many more activities for all family members. Camarillo 4th of July Fireworks Show (July, 2024)
Located 10 miles (16 km) from Oxnard, the City of Camarillo hosts the grand Independence Day Fireworks Show. The fireworks display is usually launched from the Camarillo Premium Outlet parking lots. This breathtaking show is a good option to spend time with friends or family and feel the atmosphere of unity.
