Dubai region boasts a diverse geography, and thus has some good birds to offer for those passionate enough. And even though, there aren't too many birds, if you visit Pivot Fields you might see some very interesting species of the 400 seen here!
At Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary you can observe spotted eagles and broad-billed sandpipers who spend the winter there. Emirates Golf Club is also a bird sunctuary with pintail snipes, isabelline shrikes and red-wattled lapwings.
