Halloween in Jacksonville: Events & Parties 2024
Zoo Spooktacular as well as other fall frights and delights

Halloween is a cheerful time in Jacksonville, which is full of festivals, fun events, and outdoor scares. During the last week of October, kids come trick-or-treating in Downtown Jacksonville and participate in a Halloween Scavenger Hunt via mobile phones and QR codes.
Spooktacular at Jacksonville Zoo (October 2024, on selected days)
Jacksonville Zoo attracts many visitors with its Spooktacular, running on select nights during mid-October. Kids are welcome to come in costumes and enjoy a special program from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, which includes trick-or-treating, scare zones, pirates, bounce houses, pumpkins, live entertainment, and animals.
Adventure Landing Amusement Park
Adult thrill-seekers can head to Adventure Landing amusement park, where Haunt Nights run daily from dusk to 10 pm. The largest 3D haunt in the area features two haunt houses: "Nightmares" and "Morbid Hotel." Dare to be scared by dark fables and nightmarish houses in Jacksonville Beach!
Jacksonville Halloween Bar Crawl (October 2024, on selected days)
Locals and visitors can join the ultimate Halloween Bar Crawl at Salt, navigating through the city's spookiest spots while enjoying themed drinks. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best Halloween costumes and compete in a costume contest for a chance to win prizes. The event features a variety of eerie characters and promises an exciting night of Halloween-themed fun. Tickets are available for $19.99.
Spooky Halloween DIY Class (October 25, 2024)
The Jacksonville Flower Market hosts a Spooky Halloween DIY Class where participants can create their own floral arrangements. Guided by experienced instructors, attendees will have access to a range of flowers, including Gerber Daisies and Roses, and will learn how to select and arrange them. The class is designed for all skill levels, providing an opportunity to develop floral arranging skills while having fun. Tickets are priced at $77.
Other Events
If nighttime scares are not for you, you can always spend the day at the pumpkin patch or enjoy a ride on a tractor-pulled farm wagon at Congaree and Penn Farm. Kids' Halloween-themed activities and delicious fall treats are available on some days in October.
