Middle Tennessee’s only synchronized light and music show for the holiday mood

This drive-thru light and music show is a great idea for a date night or a family evening. The Dancing Lights of Christmas show features a 2.5 mile (4 km) route with over two million lights composed into all shapes imaginable: tunnels, giant snowmen, candy canes, and Christmas trees.

Favorite holiday tunes are another important part of the show. They accompany the ride and are synchronized with the lights. This light-and-music mix creates a truly unforgettable holiday atmosphere.

Santa's Village

The little ones can take a photo with Santa before he starts his deliveries around the world. Santa's Village is located at the end of the route and operates till December 23. Two 5x7 printed photos with Santa cost $25, each additional photo is $5, and a digital download of all pictures is $50.

12th Annual Food Drive

Visitors of the event can support Second Harvest Food Bank by bringing at least 3 non-perishable food items or canned goods on Mondays and Tuesdays, from November 13 through December 5. On those dates, admission will be $5 off per vehicle.

Opening Hours

To catch this magic wonderland, visit the James E. Ward Agricultural Center, about a half-hour drive from Nashville. The Dancing Lights of Christmas show is open from Sunday through Thursday from 5 pm to 10 pm, and stays open until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Organizers advise that weekends, especially Saturdays, tend to be very busy, so expect longer wait times during these days.

Tickets

The entrance fee is $35 for a family vehicle and a non-profit van and bus. For a car limousine, the admission is $60, while SUV limousines are $75. Large commercial vehicles, motor homes, and buses have an entrance fee of $150. Tickets can be purchased at the show entrance with cash or credit cards, or online.

From November 10-13, there will be free admission to anyone currently serving or who has served in the military. Also, throughout the season, the military can enjoy a $5 discount on admission.
