Manly Jazz features four stages and live performances from over 70 artists. Thousands of jazz lovers arrive from across Australia to see both established and novice jazz bands showcasing their talents. The festival's lineup includes a diverse range of genres, from classical jazz to funk, gospel, Latin, fusion, blues, swing, roots, and world music.

Festival History

Held since 1977, the Manly Jazz Festival pays tribute to jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong with special performances in their honor. Previous festival lineups have featured renowned artists such as Australian trombonist Dan Barnett, bassist Rodney Whitaker, guitarist Ray Beadle, jazz violinist George Washingmachine, and bands like Crawfish Po Boys, Cumbiamuffin, and Queen Porter Stomp.
