Festival History

Held since 1977, the Manly Jazz Festival pays tribute to jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong with special performances in their honor. Previous festival lineups have featured renowned artists such as Australian trombonist Dan Barnett, bassist Rodney Whitaker, guitarist Ray Beadle, jazz violinist George Washingmachine, and bands like Crawfish Po Boys, Cumbiamuffin, and Queen Porter Stomp.
