Koktebel Jazz Festival 2021 in Ukraine

The largest and the most atmospheric open-air music festival in Ukraine with quality music and spectacular dawns

Dates: August 29–September 5, 2021 (on hold)

Koktebel Jazz Festival, aka simply Jazz Koktebel, is an amazing family-friendly music festival originally held at the Black Sea in Koktebel, South-Eastern Crimea, in late August or early September. With the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014, Jazz Koktebel temporarily became a migrating festival. Since then, the festival has changed several locations, including Zatoka and Chornomorsk in Odesa Oblast, Trukhaniv Island in Kyiv, and Shchaslyvtseve on Arabat Spit, Kherson Oblast.

Despite its name, at Koktebel Jazz Festival, you will listen to multi-genre performers rather than jazz solely. Since the first edition in 2003, this fest has featured an array of established stars. The past headliners included Goran Bregovic, Bonobo, DakhaBrakha, The Cinematic Orchestra, Nino Katamadze, Parov Stelar, Telepopmusik, Patrick Wolf, Red Snapper, Submotion Orchestra, The Tiger Lillies, Billy's Band, and De Phazz.

Usually, the concerts take place on the main NU Jazz Stage. But additionally, the event features a Special Stage operating throughout the night. So the most devoted festival-goers can enjoy the beautiful and warm late-summer dawns.

Tickets and all the latest announcements are available on the event's official website or Facebook page listed in the External Resources below. A pleasant bonus—children under 12 get free admission.
