The Jordan Trail is an incredibly long route crossing the entire country; that is over 600 km long. It takes about 40 days to complete it, from Um Qais in the north to Aqaba and the Red Sea in the south.
It features diverse landscapes and historical sites: mountains, deserts, vast valleys, magnificent Petra, Dead and Red seas. If you don't have that much time for your hiking vacation, just choose some part of Jordan Trail. For example, the Abraham Path that goes through famous sites described in the Bible.
The best time to walk the Trail is spring or autumn since summers are too hot, and winters are marked by sand storms.
