Papaya is a butter-yellow pear-shaped fruit with numerous little black seeds inside. It has very high nutritional value since it is very rich in Vitamin C and A, as well as dozens of other healthy components. This fruit is wonderful as juice or when added to other fruits in salads but, of course, it's best by itself. Just make sure you pick the right fruit because papaya doesn't taste good until it's fully ripe. Ripe papaya usually has a delicious tropical fragrance and a pleasing sweet taste. The peak of harvest time is autumn and spring which is the best time to try it raw.
