Vietnam Mountain Marathon History
The first Vietnamese mountain marathon was held in 2013. Today, it is one of the largest trail races in Asia, with over 5,500 participants. The original goal of the race was to create a trail route that would showcase some of the most picturesque scenery in Vietnam. Three other races—the Vietnam Jungle Marathon, Vietnam Trail Marathon, and Vietnam Ultra Marathon—were based on the same principles.
