The Kitsap County Fair & Stampede is an annual event in Bremerton, which runs on the last weekend in August before Labor Day. The popular fair offers traditional entertainment: carnival rides, a demolition derby, live music, livestock and agricultural exhibits as well as kids' activities. One of the main highlights of Kitsap County Fair is a 4-day rodeo, starting at 7 pm on each day. The event is held at the Thunderbird Arena, which also hosts Xtreme Bulls on a Saturday afternoon, the Demolition Derby, Draft Horse Show, monster trucks, and more. Other highlights of the fair include live performers and local talent: dancers, singers, and comedians.
The first Kitsap County Fair was held in 1923. Since the 1960s, it has been held in Bremerton, the largest city in Kitsap County, connected to the eastern shore of Puget Sound by ferry.
