Rodeo Events
One of the main highlights of Kitsap County Fair is a 4-day rodeo, which consists of eight events each evening of the fair. You'll have a chance to witness barrel racing, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, break-away, and bull riding, all performed by skilled riders.
Because the show's program is jam-packed with performances by more than 200 contestants, the organizers host an additional rodeo show called Rodeo Slack. Those who didn't fit into the main schedule will impress you with their skills in calf roping, barrel racing, break-away roping, and steer wrestling. Both events are held at the Thunderbird Arena, which also hosts Xtreme Bulls, a thrilling bull-riding spectacle.
Entertainment & Music
Other events hosted at the venue include the Destruction Derby, Draft Horse Show, monster trucks, carnival rides, and more. You also have an opportunity to see some famous and up-and-coming live performers and local talent: dancers, singers, and comedians. Some of the stars featured in this year's lineup include Drake Milligan, Warrant, and Heart by Heart.
Food & Beverages
No fair or carnival takes place without the delicious snacks and traditional festival fare. At the Kitsap County Fair, you'll be able to treat yourself to kettle corn, eggrolls, potstickers, elephant ears, burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, fried veggies, and much more. To slake your thirst, consider buying bean water, lemonade, a slushie, Thai tea, or any other drinks offered at the venue.
