The Boonville Oneida County Fair is a cherished annual agricultural event held at the end of July at the Oneida County Fairgrounds in Boonville, NY. Schedule of Events

The Boonville Oneida County Fair is packed with exciting events and attractions for all ages. Highlights include the colorful Parade, heart-pounding Demolition Derby held on July 28th at 1 pm and 6 pm with admission ranging from $10 to $12, and the thrilling Coleman Brothers Show on the carnival midways, offering wristbands for $35. Throughout the fairgrounds, visitors can indulge in a variety of food options, enjoy carnival rides, and explore offerings from commercial vendors.

For animal enthusiasts, there's the Commerford Animals Petting Zoo, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, and Dynamo Dogs showcasing their talents. Sports fans can enjoy Truck & Tractor Pulls, while horse lovers can attend various events like the New York State Sire Stakes, Draft Horse Show, and 4-H Western Horse Show. The grandstand heats up in the evening with country and rock concerts, followed by spectacular fireworks on select nights.

Live Entertainment

On Saturday, July 27th, the highlight event is the Cooper Alan concert at the grandstand, featuring special guest Tom Nitti. Admission prices range from $30 to $35 for this exciting musical performance. Additionally, throughout the fair, there will be music performances by Tony "Long Toes" Levesque, DJ Joe Load, Plane Jane, Dusty Puppies, and Broken Rule at the Hauf Brau, providing a diverse range of musical entertainment for attendees to enjoy.

Hours & Tickets

The gates to the fairgrounds are open daily from 8 am to 10 pm. Admission rates are as follows: Seniors aged 60 and over are $3, adults aged 13 and over are $6, and children aged 12 and under can enter for free. Parking is also free, ensuring convenient access for all attendees throughout the event.

History of Boonville Oneida County Fair

The first Boonville Oneida County Fair was organized in 1888 in its present location. It has become a cherished tradition in Oneida County.
