The Boonville Oneida County Fair is an annual agricultural event, which is held at the end of July at Oneida County Fairgrounds in Boonville, NY. The fair offers traditional family-friendly entertainment, such as a carnival midway, 4H displays, vendors, live entertainment, a puppet show, and plenty of kids' activities.
The highlights of The Boonville Oneida County Fair include the Parade, Demolition Derby, Coleman Brothers Show, Commerford Animals-Petting Zoo, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, Dynamo Dogs, Truck & Tractor Pulls as well as horse events and cattle shows. In the evening, the grandstand comes alive with music, mostly country and rock. The concert is followed by fireworks on certain days. In addition, the fair offers a variety of food, carnival rides, and commercial vendors.
The first Boonville Oneida County Fair was organized in 1888 in its present location. It has become a cherished tradition in Oneida County. Gates to the fair open at 8 am. General admission is $5. Children 12 and under can get in for free. Parking is also free.
