The Town of Penfield in Monroe County, New York, is famous for its vivid Fourth of July festivities, usually running on the Saturday closest to the glorious Fourth. Penfield residents and guests traditionally enjoy a parade, live entertainment, and, above all, Penfield Independence Day Fireworks. The star-spangled show is visible from miles around.
Town of Penfield Independence Day Celebration
Penfield Independence Day Celebration is one of the area's biggest 4th of July celebrations. The festivities begin at 10 am at Penfield High School, the starting line of the glorious Parade, and end in Harris Whalen Park, where the key festivities take place, starting with live music and food! All food vendors will be open at 6 pm, and later, you can enjoy the local band's commemorative performance and glorious fireworks at 10 pm! The event is free of charge and will be open to the public.
Penfield Parade (June 29, 2024)
The Parade begins at 10 am at Penfield High School (located off Five Mile Line Road) and ends at 12:30 at the Penfield Public Library (off Penfield Road on Baird Road). Parking restrictions will be enforced during the Parade. Make sure to stay vigilant for some special visitors. To create unforgettable memories for the locals and the guests, the city council hired Once Upon A Time Princess Parties, one of the best event agencies, to participate in a magical Independence Day Celebration Parade.
Penfield Fireworks (June 29, 2024)
And, naturally, the highlight of the evening is the fireworks display scheduled to begin at 10:00 pm from the hilltop at Harris Whalen Park. The spectacle can be seen from miles away! Parking within the park is permitted by permit only; however, there's ample parking in several plazas nearby. For those eager to catch the show from inside the park, we recommend arriving around 9:30 pm.
