Enjoy live music at the Azkena Rock Festival, the ultimate destination for rock and roll enthusiasts

Dates: June 20–22, 2024

Azkena Rock Festival, the premier rock & roll event, takes place every June in Mendizabala, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. Since its inception in 2002, this iconic festival has made an indelible mark on the music scene, boasting 22 years of history.

Lineup

This year, the Azkena Rock Festival will feature live performances from a diverse lineup of artists, including Queens Of The Stone Age, Band Of Horses, Sheryl Crow, Jane's Addiction, L7, Mavis Staples, Warren Haynes Band, Tarque & La Asociación del Riff, Redd Kross, Arde Bogotá, Ty Segall, PiL.T, The Real McKenzies, Lendakaris Muertos, and a total of 56 bands.

Trashville

Trashville is a festival within the Azkena Rock Festival where the line between audience and stage blurs. This venue captures the raw essence of rock & roll, reminiscent of the underground dens where the genre was born. Festival-goers can immerse themselves in danceable rock, from garage and surf to rockabilly and hillbilly, with riffs played at breakneck speeds. This year's Trashville lineup features The Mummies, Les Greene, Los Sírex, The Bank Robbers, and more.

Virgen Blanca

The Azkena Rock Festival is back this year with its highly anticipated and now traditional lineup of free concerts in Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. Bringing the festival's passion for music to the heart of the city, these concerts will liven up the mornings of the festival. On Friday and Saturday, before the festival kicks off at the Mendizabala venue, the party will start at Virgen Blanca, with concerts beginning at 1:30 pm.

Children's Program

As more families join the Azkena Rock Festival, they'll discover the Txiki ARF program, a dedicated space within the event. Here, children can enjoy concerts, workshops, and activities designed just for them, fostering a sense of community and fun around rock music. Each day, three concerts will feature the greatest hits of rock legends who have graced the ARF stages, offering kids a glimpse into rock history. Workshops will also be available, where children can create personalized badges and picks, as well as get their faces painted with rock-themed designs.

Attendees can opt for a 3-Day Pass at €175 or a Gaztea Pass, offering reduced rates for young people aged 15 to 23, priced at €100.
