Utah celebrates Halloween on a large scale. Fall festivals, corn mazes, scary attractions, parades, and noisy parties are held throughout the state during the whole month of October. Some of the events are for grown-ups only, but there are plenty of family-friendly festivals and pumpkin patches for everyone to enjoy!

Cornbelly's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Fest in Lehi (September 20–November 2, 2024)

Cornbelly's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Fest are among the most famous Halloween events in Utah. Organized by Brett and Nicole Herbst, the renowned corn maze has changed several locations over the years. It is currently set up at Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, Utah. With over 60 attractions and events, this fall festival has something for everyone. Attractions at Cornbelly's include Pumpkin Princess Carriage, which is a perfect place for little princes and princesses with a small castle, birthday tea party area, “Cinderella” carriage, and “build-a-princess” scarecrow area. Also, every child has a chance to trick-or-treat in the corn and find their treats filled with candy. Admission is $19 on week days $26.99 during weekends.

Pumpkin Days at Wheeler Farm (September 27–October 31, 2024)

Pumpkin Days at Wheeler Farm is another perfect activity for the whole family. Held at a historical farm near Salt Lake City, the festival features the Pumpkin Patch, Hay Maze, Cow Train & Wagon Rides. There are plenty of kid-friendly, not-so-scary Halloween activities. Wheeler Fram offers kids cow milking, farmhouse tours, duck feeding, farm animals petting, tractor-drawn wagon rides, blacksmithing demos, and all kinds of special events.

Herber Valley Railroad (October 2024, on selected dates)

Herber Valley is especially beautiful during the fall season, offering stunning foliage viewing. The Pumpkin Train and The Halloween Train are the favorite seasonal rides in the Heart of Utah's mountains. The Pumpkin Train offers a short 40-minute train ride where the adults can enjoy the scenery while kids get entertained by costumed characters. Departure times are 10 am, noon, 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm. Whereas Halloween Train departs at 7 pm for a 90-minute adventure, featuring The Sanderson Sisters and roaming zombies. General admission is $15 for ages 2+. Toddlers, age 1 and under, ride for $10.

Sleepy Hollow Haunted Wagon Rides (September-October 2024, on selected dates)

Sleepy Hollow Haunted Wagon Rides is the annual attraction offering authentic horse-drawn wagon rides through the real woods of Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah. The journey is accompanied by a skillful narration of Washington Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". The legends say the wood is haunted, so don't be surprised to see the Headless Horseman! Haunted Wagon Ride is appropriate for all age groups. It is organized by Rocky Mountain Outfitters at Soldier Hollow, located within a 25-minute drive from Provo, 20 minutes from Park City, and about 1 hour from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Trick-Or-Treat DIVA! Party at Metro Music Hall, Salt Lake City (October 5-6, 2024)

Annual Halloween Party is one of the most fun-filled events in Salt Lake City during the Halloween season. The largest party of the year held at the Metro Music Hall features the best DJs and the spookiest decoration making the venue look totally unrecognizable. The party features a photo booth and beanie giveaways. Line-ups included DJ Matty Mo and others. The Halloween Party is always a big success with crowds partying deep into the morning.
