Schedule

During the Medina County Fair, gates are accessible from 8 am to 11 pm. Monday through Saturday, with Gate #1 and Gate #6 open 24 hours exclusively for pass holders, and Gate #10 welcoming visitors from 7 am until 11 pm. On the final day of the fair, Sunday, gates open at 8 am and close at 8 pm, coinciding with the release of animals and projects at 8 pm. Vendors continue operations until 10 pm, culminating in fireworks at the same hour, with the Grandstand accessible during the display. Ride times differ by day, commencing at 1 pm on Monday and Tuesday, at 11 am on Wednesday, and beginning at noon on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Grandstand Events

The fairgrounds offer an exhilarating lineup of events designed to thrill spectators. Motocross and the Rough Truck Contest challenge vehicles through obstacle-filled tracks, while Bull Riding provides heart-pounding action alongside barrel racing and mutton busting. Fans of vehicular mayhem won't want to miss the Demo Derby and the OSTPA Pull, where modified tractors, trucks, and semis vie to pull a weighted sled. Admission to all these events is $12.

In addition, enjoy free attractions such as the Draft Horse & Pony Hitch Show and the Farm Pull, highlighting the strength and skill of agricultural teams. A live concert featuring Tyler Hubbard and Karissa Ella will take place on Wednesday, July 31. Tickets for the concert are priced at $50 and $40, promising a memorable conclusion to the festivities. Cap off the weekend with a breathtaking display of Free Fireworks on Sunday, August 4, at 10 pm.

Kids Activities

Children can participate in a variety of fun contests at the fair, including a Coloring Contest, Art Entries, School Exhibits, and the Hay Bale Contest. Additionally, young ones aged 5-10 can compete in the Jr. Prince & Jr. Princess Contest, while those aged 11-15 can join the Prince & Princess Contest. The Royal Court Contest adds to the excitement, offering kids a chance to showcase their talents and creativity in friendly competition at the fair.

Throughout the weekend, the Medina County Fair Pavilion offers a diverse range of free entertainment options. Families can enjoy performances by Cracker Jack and The Family Fun Circus, along with educational shows like Whiz Bang and Mad Science of Northeast Ohio and Wilderness Adventures. For those looking for active fun, Bubble Soccer and the Kiddie Tractor Pull provide engaging activities. The fair also hosts special events such as Veteran's Day and Opening Ceremonies, Heritage Day celebrations, and the Farm Bureau Tent with a Scavenger Hunt. Attendees can participate in the Treasures Show, Armwrestling competitions, a Worship Service, and a Basketball Free Throw Contest.

Free Pavilion Concerts

The Medina County Fair Pavilion offers an array of free live music performances throughout the weekend. Visitors can enjoy performances by bands such as Third Monkey Band, Back Alley Relics, 20 Horses Band, Hard Hat, Recess Band, Honors Band, Choir and Orchestra, 2 South Band, Yearbook Band, and The Dogwood Rockers.
