Every winter Finns go ice-fishing. This is one of the most popular and traditional winter activities among Finns. From mid-January to the end of February runs the burbot season.
After you have caught the fish, you can start making a traditional Finnish soup. It is a classical winter warming dish. This small slimy fish tastes suprisingly good too!
