The June Fair or Feria Juniana in San Pedro Sula is another occasion to party after La Ceiba Carnival is over. This festival is held during the whole month and most of the events are associated with the festival patron saint of the city—St. Peter the Apostle.
Colourful art exhibits, folk dances, concerts, carnivals, and fireworks give plenty of chances for tourists to get acquainted with the culture and traditions of Honduras. The home football field "Francisco Morazan" hosts exhibitions of art and culture and even laser light shows.
The most important event of the festival is the float parade down the city's Avenida Circunvalacion, full of live music performances. During the festival, San Pedro Sula restaurants and cafes offer visitors delicious traditional dishes and drinks.
