What could be more nostalgic than a good old county fair with its traditional carnival, games, and fair foods? You can indulge in this throwback experience at The Napa County Fair & Fiesta, held on the first weekend of August at the Napa County Fairgrounds in Calistoga. This three-day event offers plenty of opportunities to learn and try new things.

Schedule

The 2024 Napa Town & Country Fair will be open during the following hours: Thursday from 3 pm to 9 pm, Friday from 3 pm to 9 pm, Saturday from 1 pm to 9 pm, and Sunday from 1 pm to 8 pm.

Events

The fair features Mariachi music, Mexican bull riding, and folk dancing alongside a carnival with giant lawn games, bumper cars, a rock wall, a classroom safari with wild animals, a zip line, the Spin Challenge, Hoppy Horses, and Giant Trykes. Arts, photography, gardening, and farming competitions showcase Napa Valley's talents, while cooking demonstrations and food education play a big role. Arts and crafts vendors and food trucks are crowd favorites. Evening live music concerts ensure everyone stays entertained. Performers include Nitty Gritty Dirt Band ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farwell Tour, Parmalee, Breland, Chingy, La Original Banda Limon, and many others!

Agriculture Exhibits

The Napa Fair offers young farmers and agriculture enthusiasts an exciting opportunity to showcase their skills and knowledge through junior agriculture exhibits. This cherished tradition allows children and teens to gain recognition for their hard work and dedication. These exhibits provide an engaging experience for visitors of all ages, highlighting the vital role of agriculture in our community.

Tickets & Location

General Admission to the fair is $14-18 per person, payable at the gate. Kids ages 6-17 pay $12-15. On Thursday, Admission is free for youth and kids aged 12 and under and seniors aged 60 and above. Single Day Unlimited Ride Wristband is $35-55. Calistoga Fairgrounds is a popular venue in Napa Valley with races at Calistoga Speedway, great golf on Mount St. Helena Golf Course, and several indoor and outdoor spaces for various events and gatherings.
