Rhema Christmas Lights is a great occasion to feel the true spirit of Christmas in Broken Arrow, OK, 14 miles (23 km) from Tulsa. The annual event takes place in Rhema Park next to Rhema Bible Church under the motto "Jesus is the Light of the World."
Hours
Tens of thousands of twinkling bulbs light up a 110-acre (45-ha) campus on the Eve of Thanksgiving at 6 pm. From Thanksgiving to New Year's Day, the show runs daily from 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm, rain, snow, or shine, and is free of charge.
Rhema Christmas Lights Highlights
Walk through the iconic Rhema Park bridge aglow, explore Christmas tree forest reflections on the lake, and see the elaborate light displays, countless angels, reindeer, lollipops, and other themed decorations. The main highlights include a complex 50-figure nativity scene, as well as Noah’s ark with animals, and a synchronized musical display. Among the most photographed spots in the park is the decorated Rhema Park bridge. Concessions available in the park include hot chocolate, apple cider, cappuccino, lattes, funnel cakes, cookies, donuts, kettle corn, cake pops, and buttered popcorn.
Carriage Rides
The best way to behold the sparkling beauty of Rhema Lights must be by taking a carriage ride.. Open-top carriage rides are $15 per person. Private carriage rides for up to four adults are $60. Kids 5 and under ride for free. Carriage rides don't need reservations. They are offered on a "first come-first serve basis" from 5:30 to 10 pm. Rhema Christmas Lights has been cheering up the local community since 1982. Over the years, this wonderful Christmas lights extravaganza has grown into one of Oklahoma's major holiday light displays, drawing half a million visitors from the Sooner State, as well as the neighboring states.
