Surfing in Bali may be an intimidating but awesome experience!
Best time: April–August
Even if you have just found your balance on the board and Bali may seem a bit scary, Kuta is one of the best places to surf. It is also one of the most recognizable surfing spots. The more difficult reef breaks are situated more to the southern Bukit Peninsula and should be reserved only for advanced surfers due to the five to six-foot curls.
