There's a good chance you'll enjoy a spectacular white Christmas in Colorado Springs, located on the eastern foot of the Rocky Mountains! In addition to its beautiful nature, like Pikes Peak and Pike National Forest, Colorado Springs boasts many holiday events and specials throughout its shops and galleries. The holiday season in Colorado Springs is all about snowy peaks, holiday lights, and delicious comfort foods!

Skate in Acacia Park (November 10, 2023–January 31, 2024)

Downtown Acacia Park is the perfect destination for a family outing. The huge 4,675-sq ft (434 sq m) ice rink is located on the western side of the park, available for all ages. Get into the Christmas spirit while gliding under the holiday lights and stars, listening to holiday tunes in the heart of the big city. Beginning skaters can get buckets to help them more fully enjoy the experience. Children under 4 can skate for free.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's Electric Safari (December 1, 2023–January 1, 2024; on selected dates)

Sparkling lights plus animals equal Christmas spirit! Enjoy the special program at the only mountain zoo in the US. The Electric Safari features 85 light sculptures, large bonfires, indoor animal exhibits, and wonderful light displays. Immerse yourself in over one million lights and don't forget to stop by Santa's Residence and see St. Nick himself!

Christmas Stroll in Old Colorado City (November 25, 2023)

There is no better place to get into the holiday spirit than Old Colorado City with its quaint galleries and old brick shops lining Colorado Avenue. Visitors can enjoy holiday lights and Victorian Christmas Celebration in Old Colorado City during its annual Small Business Saturday, from 5 pm. to 8 pm. Shops offer entertainment, treats, and of course, special deals. Santa’s Workshop operates until 8 p.m. for the Stroll and every weekend until Christmas at 2732 W. Colorado.
