Fowey Christmas Market is one of the best in Cornwall County. Held during one weekend in December, the market attracts tens of thousands of visitors to the small town at the mouth of the River Fowey. The market is set up at Fowey Town Quay, along Market Street, Webb Street, and near Town Hall. The holiday event features about 100 market stalls, offering unique gifts from Cornish artisans and the best produce to local farmers and restaurants. Entertainment includes Christmas music and carols.
The three-day event starts with a long-awaited Father Christmas and Fowey Town Band Parade, which marches through the town along with street performers and musicians. Entertainment will continue throughout the rest of the day. Visitors can also stroll through festively decorated streets, making stops at local coffee shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants.
Fowey Christmas Market is an excellent place to shop for holiday decor and hand-crafted ornaments, as well as to enjoy some traditional entertainment with the whole family. The event will run from 5:30pm to 8:30 pm on Friday, from 10 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
