New Year's Eve 2024-2025 in Phuket

Wild parties, colorful shows, and amazing fireworks await guests on Patong Beach and in other Phuket locations

Dates: December 31

Phuket stands out as one of Asia's most sought-after destinations for New Year's Eve, and it's easy to see why. The island is renowned for its vibrant beach parties and is celebrated for its lively atmosphere and diverse entertainment options. Each resort on the island hosts extravagant gala dinners accompanied by stunning fireworks displays and live entertainment by the pool that lasts throughout the night, ensuring an unforgettable celebration.

Patong Beach & Bangla Road

Patong Beach is the epicenter of New Year's Eve fun in Phuket, especially Bangla Road or Bangla Walking Street. This street has always been the heart of Phuket nightlife, with dozens of go-go bars, live music bars, and clubs for any taste. NYE on Bangla Street is a quintessential Phuket experience: noisy, crowded, and bustling with colors, rhythms, and flavors.

Bangla Road is approximately a 5 to 10-minute walk from Patong Beach. Visitors can easily stroll from the beach to the bustling Bangla Road, making it convenient to enjoy both the beach and the nightlife in one outing. Bangla Street is a paradise for any party animal. If you want a large rave party with top DJs, Illuzion is one of the best clubs to dance through the night. Paradise Beach is also famous for its large NYE parties with loud music and international DJs. These NYE bashes may attract you to the famous Koh Phangan Full Moon Parties.

Full Moon Party on the NYE

The Full Moon Party, a lively all-night celebration aligned with the lunar calendar, takes place on the southeastern peninsula of Ko Pha-ngan at Haad Rin. Each month, it draws an enthusiastic crowd of 20,000 to 30,000 revelers, with attendance varying by season. Attendees can immerse themselves in a vibrant atmosphere filled with neon lights, pulsating trance and house music, and a diverse international crowd eager to join the festivities. Notably, the event features a special celebration on New Year's Eve, occurring on December 31. More Beach Parties

To the south of Patong Beach, Karon and Kata beaches host New Year's Eve festivities that attract many visitors. Known for their pristine white sand, these beaches provide an ideal setting for surfing, snorkeling, and a variety of water activities, and they tend to be lively on New Year's night. To the north of Patong, Kamala Beach and Surin Beach are celebrated for hosting some of Thailand's most exciting countdown events. The large gathering at Surin Beach features outstanding music, delicious barbecues, and spectacular fireworks, creating a memorable experience for all.

Phuket Old Town

While the beaches provide a relaxed atmosphere, Old Phuket Town showcases a rich cultural and historical backdrop for the countdown festivities. With its enchanting Sino-Portuguese architecture, the streets vibrate with art, music, and lively local performances. This unique celebration offers a refreshing alternative for those looking to step away from the beach party scene.
