The Hudson Gardens & Event Center is located 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Denver. The botanical garden and events space occupies 30 acres (12 ha) of beautiful landscapes, exhibits, nature trails, and a concert venue with the capacity to sit 3,000 people located in a few minutes from historic Littleton. The mining town dates back to the 1859 Pike's Peak Gold Rush, which brought here merchants, gold seekers, and farmers. It was named after the local engineer Richard Sullivan Little.
