The Arkansas State Fair takes place every October in Little Rock, Arkansas. Attracting about 450,000 attendees, the largest entertainment event in the state offers a diverse program at the Arkansas State Fair Complex, which includes the Barton Coliseum, Hall of Industry, an impressive midway, and lots of other venues. The family-oriented fair provides lots of fun and educational opportunities for all ages, with an emphasis on agriculture, livestock, technology, and arts.
Free Entertainment
Family-friendly entertainment at the fair in 2024 includes performances by The High Diving Pirates of the Caribbean, daring acrobats with gravity-defying dives that will make your heart race. Daily showtimes are at 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 6:30 pm. Aussie Kingdom Exhibit brings the unique beauty of Australia’s wildlife right to Arkansas. Prepare to be mesmerized by the fascinating creatures and their captivating antics. The exhibit is open from 11 am to 8 pm; showtimes occur at noon, 3 pm, and 6 pm. The Museum of Discovery is bringing its awe-inspiring shows to the Arkansas State Fair at 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, and 5:30 pm.
Music
The musical entertainment of the Arkansas State Fair offers something for every taste. There are many free events that gather thousands of fairgoers. Famous headliners on the Main Stage present classic rock, country, alternative, and R&B acts. Previous headliners of the fair include The Charlie Daniels Band, P.O.D., Ginuwine, Joe Nichols, Stokley, Pop Evil, Mark Chesnutt, Ralph Tresvant, and many others.
2024 Lineup
On Friday, October 11, 2024, the Arkansas State Fair features Stephen Pearcy of RATT, Quiet Riot, and Vixen. Dru Hill and Ginuwine will perform on Saturday, October 12, 2024. On Sunday, October 13, the fair hosts Chase Rice and Ella Langley. All concerts are held in the historic Barton Coliseum within the State Fair Grounds. Ticket prices range from $25 to $250. Each concert ticket also includes admission to the state fair for the day of the show.
Admission
Adult admission to the fair is $5 if purchased through August 14 (the regular price is $12). Children, seniors, and group visitors enjoy discounted tickets ($5 if purchased early, $6 after August 14). The admission includes free entertainment on the Main Stage. Unlimited rides wristband is $30 if purchased early (regular price - $35). Parking at the fair is $10. Organizers also provide free shuttle services. Fairgoers can park in the designated parking lots Friday evening or get on a shuttle to the fair gates, to have a hassle-free family weekend.
