When spring comes to the Alpine countryside, wild narcissi cover the land in a white and yellow sea of flowers. White star-shaped narcissi bloom between the middle of May and the middle of June. At that time, every year, the Narzissenfest takes place. It is Austria's largest flower festival. The celebration includes folk music concerts and handmade crafts made by local masters.
