As plums are early flowering trees, the blooming starts at the beginning of the first spring month. During the flowering season, Ming Dynasty City Wall Relics Park in Beijing holds Plum Blossom Festival. The park which was built during the Ming Dynasty is considered the best place to enjoy the blossoms. You can find dozens of people, strolling on the pathways, talking, laughing, taking photographs, smelling the fragrant buds and enjoying the sunshine in the park. This nature scene is apparently a prize for photographers.
