The annual Lake Julian Festival of Lights is open daily from 6 to 9 pm. For those interested in a walk-through experience, the festival runs on December 2-3 from 6 to 8 pm, with an admission fee of $5 per person. The drive-through option is available from December 4-23, also from 6 to 9 pm, with admission costing $10 for passenger vehicles, $25 for large vans, and $50 for motor coaches and buses. The loop trail takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Lake Julian: What to See
Lake Julian Park is a family-friendly recreational area on the shores of the 300-acre Lake Julian in Arden. It offers picnicking, boating, fishing, a playground, and special events. The lake is home to bass, catfish, brim, crappie, and tilapia, with prime fishing from October to March. Visitors can rent paddle boats and canoes, and the park has six rentable picnic shelters, along with free tables and grills available on a first-come, first-served basis.
