Seville Marathon (Zurich Maraton de Sevilla) Featured in
The Zurich Maraton de Sevilla has been held in the streets of Seville since 1985. Traditionally it is preceded by two days of events—the runners fair and a pasta lunch at Palenque.
The early registration (almost a year in advance) is available for the marathon. So if you are physically fit and ready, you can join the event long before the beginning. The marathon offers a spectacular circuit, one of the flattest in Europe at sea level. It passes through the famous emblematic places of Seville such as the Plaza de España, Torre del Oro, Maria Luisa Park, and La Maestranza. The runners say they enjoy the marathon thanks to the flat circuit and great Andalucian climate in late February.
