Ampol Wynnum Halloween Parade (formerly known as Manly Harbour Village Halloween Street Party) is a free non-scary community event promising over 13 hours of non-stop entertainment during one day in late October. Wynnum is an eastern coastal suburb of the City of Brisbane, located in Queensland, Australia.
Wynnum Village is calling all ghouls, ghosts, vampires, and fairies to gather for a thrilling and chilling Street Party that is famous throughout Queensland. The alcohol-free party has two stages of live music and shows starting from 1 pm, free movies in the park, a holiday fair with various crafts, and Halloween 5 Mile Classic Run. There are five hours of on-water entertainment and displays that include jet-packs, radio-controlled model boats, stand-up paddleboards, and sailing. Participants of pumpkin carving and best costume contests can win prizes.
The main highlight of the festival is the Halloween Parade that starts at dusk with hundreds of creepy creatures, bands, entertainers, and classic cars. The festival ends with the spectacular fireworks show at 9 pm.
