Ostermünde 2025 in Germany
Open spring season with Easter celebrations in Travemünde, a small German seaside town
Dates: April 18–21, 2025
In the spring Travemünde, a German seaside resort, opens the colorful Easter celebration for the whole family. Over a few days in April, everything is about Easter in the Brügmanngarten Park. And everything is for the town's little and big friends. Check out the Easter bonfires on the beach, the huge Easter egg parade, and live bands.
What is Easter without the Easter Bunny? During the celebration, he tells exciting stories, conducts sporting action games, and provides fun and a good mood. In Travemünder guests are pampered with gastronomical delicacies: tasty grilled waffles, coffee, cakes and fish dishes, snacks, and pies for the whole family.
On Great Saturday, the evil spirits of winter are burned on the coast of the Baltic Sea at Travemünde Beach in a gigantic Easter bonfire. Delicious barbecue, live music, cold and hot drinks by the fire provide a good mood and pleasant evening on the beach.
On Sunday, the Easter Egg Parade takes place. The parade is held with brightly colored giant eggs headed by the Easter Rabbit personally and with musical support, along the way from Ostpreußenkai to Brügmanngarten.
